Paediatric Admission Information
Your child’s doctor will advise you of all necessary fasting and other preparations necessary prior to their procedure.
The George Centre has a separate paediatric “holding bay” where your child waits prior to their procedure. You will be able to wait in this area with your child until they are taken into the operating theatre.
Our nursing team will advise you when they are moved to recovery so you can be there when they awaken.

If you are completing a form by hand and not doing an online admission, please ensure you comply with the following
- Deliver by hand to the hospital receptionist

NB: The George Centre must be in receipt of your completed admission form at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled procedure date.
