The George Centre (TGC) is committed to providing safe, high-quality healthcare to every person who seeks care and treatment from any of the healthcare programs and services delivered within our facility.

Quality Patient Care - The George Centre

An effective clinical governance system is vital for continuous improvement in the safety and quality of care. TGC’s Clinical Governance Framework outlines the facility’s key structures, systems, policies, procedures, monitoring, and improvement mechanisms which are all centred around achieving excellent clinical outcomes. We work in partnership with our community, patients, families, and carers to provide patient centred care and collaboratively identify safety and quality opportunities for improvement.

TGC Clinical Governance Framework has been developed in accordance with the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare National Model Clinical Governance (2017).
