The George Centre is a modern day and short-stay private surgical and maternity hospital conveniently located in the specialist medical precinct of southwest Sydney’s Gledswood Hills.

The George Centre opened in July 2023 and is a $100M, 9336m2 project. It is the first stage of a 5-hectare health precinct being developed by ACURIO Health Group in a joint venture partnership with Home Consortium’s HealthCo.

With a focus on the needs of the burgeoning population of the outer regions of southwest Sydney, The George Centre has been designed to meet the growing demands of private health services for residents of Camden, Campbelltown, Picton, Liverpool, Nepean and the Southern Highlands and has attracted our region’s leading medical specialists who are supported by our experienced healthcare team.

To ensure we meet the needs of our community, The George Centre’s private maternity care and healthcare management team have worked in close collaboration with key management and stakeholders of Campbelltown Hospital, our region’s leading medical specialists, and our General Practitioners to provide a much-needed boost to health services in Sydney’s southwest focusing on gaps in service provision. Our facilities include:

- 2 dedicated endoscopy suites
- 4 modern, spacious birthing suites
- 26-bed private maternity unit with LUXE suites a special care nursery
- Onsite fertility services and lab provided by City Fertility
- Onsite comprehensive medical imaging provided by Scan Medical

The George Centre has also provided numerous employment opportunities across a wide range of disciplines.

Our "bub-hub" services include services provided by the hospital and optional services by third party providers:
- Regular updates on health from leading specialist providers
- Kids CPR classes
- Post-natal home visits
- Prenatal classes
- Postnatal classes including soothing and settling

Unlike traditional hospital design, The George Centre draws on an abundance of natural light and open space to create a feeling of relaxaton and wellness.
Evidence Based Design also considers the needs of staff and visitors, ensuring a more positive working environment and visitor experience that is then passed onto the patient during their stay.
