Dr Gary Yee – MBBS FRACS
Dr Yee is a specialist trained General, Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon with a strong interest in the field of Upper GI Surgery and Weight Loss Surgery.
He performs metabolic and bariatric procedures such as the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, the gastric bypass as well as revisional bariatric procedures. He believes strongly in a multifaceted approach to weight management which integrates the fields of dietetics, exercise physiology and medication. He has watched with interest the development and emergence of newer weight loss medications over the last decade and has integrated them into his provision of weight loss services for about a decade now.
He also provides Direct Access Endoscopy services such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Additionally he provides general surgical services such as appendicectomy, cholecystectomy, inguinal, umbilical, incisional and recurrent herniae repair.
