Dr Jason Chinnappa is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon focused on management of all aspects of adult and paediatric hip surgery, knee surgery and sports injuries. Dr Chinnappa also manages common foot and ankle conditions for children and adults. Dr Chinnappa completed his orthopaedic training in NSW, Australia. He has since undertaken subspecialty Adult Hip & Knee replacement and reconstruction, as well as foot surgery and ankle surgery and reconstruction fellowships in Sydney, Australia before moving to Paris, France to complete a fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr Chinnappa is an active member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA), co-founder of Sydney Orthopaedic And Sports Injury Service (SOASIS) and a part of the Sydney Orthopaedic Specialists (SOS) group.
Dr Chinnappa’s interests include Hip Replacement Surgery (Direct Anterior, Posterior or SuperPATH approaches), Knee Replacement Surgery (Partial and Total Knee Replacement with navigated/robotic technology) and Sports Surgery (Arthroscopy, ACL and meniscus surgery, ligament reconstruction).
