Dr Nasreen Shammas

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr Nasreen Shammas is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1997 and went on to complete her internship at Nepean Hospital. Her specialist training commenced in Sydney in 2007 and was completed with a fellowship in 2013.

She holds VMO Positions at the following Hospitals :

• Canterbury Hospital
• The George Centre Private Hospital
• Sydney South-west Private Hospital
• Campbelltown private Hospital

and has also worked as Locum at the following hospitals.

• Liverpool Hospital, Tweed Hospital, Lismore Hospital, Armidale Hospital, Bathurst Hospital, Nepean Hospital, Coffs Harbour Base Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Bankstown Hospital, Mackay Hospital and Maitland Hospital.

Along with her extensive background and understanding of gynaecology, Dr Shammas has continued to participate in courses and training programs to further extend and update her existing knowledge.
