Dr Quan Ngo is an Australian trained and certified Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon with a particular interest in facial reconstruction and aesthetics, as well as microsurgery. Internationally, Dr Ngo completed further Fellowship positions in the United Kingdom, France, and Taiwan, sub-specialising in microsurgical reconstructive procedures, particularly in the Head & Neck region.

University and Examiner Appointments
Dr Quan Ngo is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the School of Medicine at UNSW, University of Western Sydney, and the Australian School of Advanced Medicine at Macquarie University. Dr Ngo was both an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) as well as the RACS Supervisor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Specialist Training Program at Liverpool Hospital. He has been actively involved in the training of the next generation of Australian Specialist Plastic Surgeons since 2012 and has won several accolades including ‘Best Teacher of the Year’.
Academic Research
As a keen academic researcher, Dr Quan Ngo has had scores of articles published in scientific journals and also sat on review panels for numerous Australian and international journals and research foundations. He is one of the founding members of both the Sydney Facial Nerve Service at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse as well as the Australian Lymphoedema Education, Research and Treatment (ALERT) multidisciplinary team at MQ Health at Macquarie University.

Dr Ngo has also previously been elected to represent his specialist medical colleagues, serving as a national Councillor for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and as Secretary for its NSW branch.
