The George Centre Private Hospital held our first education dinner for Southern Highlands General Practice at Park Proxi recently.
The event was on the overarching topic “The Ageing Game” and was co-sponsored by City Fertility who have now opened an IVF and Fertility Clinic in Springett’s Arcade Bowral and Australian Clinical Labs who are located at 1/70 Bowral St.
Education events for General Practice are an important part of our hospital’s commitment to our medical community. They allow our specialists to keep General Practitioners informed of numerous things including the latest updates in treatments, the best tests to refer for pathology and imaging, medicare rebateable items, how to provide best management of the patient in the General Practice setting and when specialist referral is necessary.
These events also provide the opportunity for robust case study discussions and to build trusted relationships between the speakers and general practice and enable The George Centre education team to gain input as to what future topics would be of greatest benefit to our GP referrers.
Together all these elements work towards our ultimate goal – improved patient outcomes.
Our southern highland specialists presenting at this event were (pictured from top centre to bottom right)
