Escabags now at ScanMedical
The George Centre’s onsite medical imaging suite provided by ScanMedical have announced they are now proud stockists of Escabags.
What is Escabags?
Escabags is a registered charity who distribute free escape bags for families and individuals escaping domestic or family abuse. ScanMedical has Escabags signage on the front door and throughout the practice (located in the basement of The George Centre) letting visitors know that anyone needing an escape bag just needs to ask a staff member and it will be discreetly given to them.
There is also a donation box in their waiting room where anyone is able to donate items for the escape bags which are then sent along to Escapbags. Recommended items can include (but are not limited to) toiletry items such as shower gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and other useful items such as teabags, wet wipes, nappies, dummies, teddies, colouring-in books and pencils.
